Elaborate gilt tooled decorated binding. Essay headings have paste on illustrations.-- Slipcase probably some faded and has some light rubbing to the extremities. Otherwise an absolutely gorgeous example (without any imperfections) of an early Sangorski & Sutcliffe binding. Fine. Item #10329
