"A pamphlet on some of the fallout from the refusal of the clergy to ordain Oliver Dodge as a minister. Dodge preached in Lyman's church without Lyman's permission, and over his objection. He and a colleague read a remonstrance in the church, resulting in his arrest for breach of peace. The controversy is reviewed in detail, and the text of sermons that Lyman gave during and after his prosecution is printed."
